“You’re One in a Minion” Card Idea
 Mother’s Day is almost here and this minion card is the perfect gift idea for kids to give their moms! I am pretty sure all mother’s have heard of Despicable Me so this is a cute idea to make :) Note you can also make this for a Father’s Day card too!
How to Make a Minion
You will need yellow/blue paint, a black marker, white/pink paper, a bottle cap, and glue.
Start by having the kids paint a minion body with yellow paint. Cut out a white circle with paper and glue it inside the bottle cap. These will be his “goggles”
Paint some yellow arms with one in the “air.” Add some hair, hands, a mouth, feet, and goggle straps with the black marker. Once the yellow paint is completely dry, kids can paint some overalls on with the blue paint.
Finish it off with writing “You’re One in a Minion, Mom!” at the top or “You’re One in a Minion, Dad!”
I’d been trying to think of a fun Mother’s Day card for my two daughters here and was sooooo happy to see your idea. We are huge Minion fans so these are perfect. Since my Grandkids were not here I cut the various parts out of different card paper, making the overalls from glitter paper. It created a nice 3-D effect and was a quick project. Thank you so much!
