I was staring at my pop can the other day and realized those tabs surely go to waste! They can be incorporated into kids art projects so I made this adorable turkey craft for Thanksgiving! I think they are perfect to go on homemade cards for grandparents, friends, etc.
Materials Needed:
- 6 soda pop tabs
- Acrylic paint
- Glue / Scissors
- Paintbrush
- Googly eye
- Red, orange, and white brown paper
Take off the tabs from your soda cans and paint them different colors. I had the red ones from energy drinks (we had a LONG road trip -lol!) I believe it was RockStar brand.
Cut out two circles, legs, gobble, and a beak. Glue them all together and add a googly eye.
Once the tabs are dry, glue them onto the back of the body then put one pop tab in the middle of the bigger circle to make it look like a feather. Gobble gobble!
