Materials Needed:

  • Googly eyes
  • FloraCraft Make It: Fun Foam Balls
  • Purple paper
  • Scissors/Glue
  • Sequins
  • Purple paint

Start by cutting off a piece of the styrofoam ball on the bottom so it sits flat. Place the ball in the center of a sheet of card stock paper and have them draw 8 wiggly legs. Cut out the octopuses legs and have them paint the ball purple (or any color they want). While the ball dries (ours took along time!) have the kids glue on colored sequins to make the octopuses tentacles.

Once the ball is dry, hot glue some funny googly eyes on and connect it to the paper. There you have some cute octopuses! Make sure to check out MakeItFunCrafts.com to get more ideas using these balls!
