I found the cutest idea on Pinterest but when I went to see where it came from, it said the blog had been removed! I figured I'd give it ago with my pepper in the fridge. It's a fun stamping activity for the kids to do on Thanksgiving. I hadn't made a fat turkey craft yet so here is he! ;)
Materials Needed:
- Green pepper
- Knife (for adults)
- Paint
- Orange, red, white paper
- Black marker
- Glue / Scissors
Start painting the shape of a fat turkey's body with brown paint. Cut the end off of your green pepper and dip it in paint (if you cut it in half you have two stampers!) Have the kids press it around the turkeys body making goofy "feathers."
Cut out a beak, eyes, gobble, and feet for the turkey. For the eyes I cut out two circles and colored the pupils in with a black sharpie. Glue all the pieces on and let dry!
