Today the kids and I made this paper bag giraffe puppet with a Valentine spin on it with paper hearts! You could also just do regular shaped spots for a zoo art project.

Materials Needed:

  • Paper bag
  • Yellow, orange, and brown paper
  • Black sharpie
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Start by cutting out two pieces of yellow paper and gluing them to each section of the paper bag. Cut out some brown rounded hearts for the giraffe's spots.

Add all the other facial features and you're done! We used tape so they could play with him faster (waiting for glue is always a bummer).
