Acorn Owls by Helen Bird from Curly Birds |
Acorn Owls- This craft is so adorable! You take acorns that have fallen from a tree and glue on little felt pieces to make a face.
Owl Toilet Paper Roll Craft- Here's a bright and cheery owl made out of recycled tp tubes!
Owl CD Face- Here's a creative idea using 2 old CD's for the owls eyes! It's a cute project as well as functional to scare away birds from your garden (the light that reflects off the CD!)
Newspaper Night Owl - Kids can have a blast ripping up newspaper into strips and creating a owl. The black paper behind it makes it look like night time and the owl is sitting on a tree branch!
Paper Owl Puppet- This owl puppet is made out of a paper bag and uses creative ideas. I really like that they used cupcake liners for the eyes, wings, and belly. This would not be a hard project for most children.
Pine Cone Owl- Take a pine cone from a tree and turn it into a cute little owl! All you really need is some felt, googly eyes, and glue to create one. Super cute!

Cotton Ball Owl Craft- I love this art project for the kiddos! Stretching the cotton balls gives the owl texture and is soft to the touch.

Owl Toilet Paper Roll Craft |
Handprint Owls- I always love when you can incorporate kid's hand prints into crafts. It's a great piece of memorabilia that parents can save until they are older. Here's an easy project that kids use with their hands to create owl wings in any color paint you have!
Paper Plate Owls- If you have some paper plates laying around grab them and turn them into an owl! Just give the kiddos some paint, foam paper, and fabric pieces to create a masterpiece.
Toilet Paper Roll Owl Craft- Here's a fun toilet paper roll craft! All you need is an empty tube and some yellow cupcake liners to make the perfect owl.
Wood Owl Craft- This is very creative if you can get your hands on some wood disks! All you need are some colored feathers and big googly eyes to make the owl come alive.
Owl Leaf Art- I love this project! You can use real leaves from your trees to make this owl! It would make a very cute gift for fall.
