Are you looking for creative and fun classroom bulletin boards? Then you have found the right place. Search through a variety of teacher bulletin boards to get great ideas and inspiration for your own room! Bulletin boards are an essential piece in your classroom not only because they create a welcoming environment but to increase student creativity and learning! You can also find classroom decorations to buy on sale such as posters, charts, banners, bulletin borders, and much more! :)

shoot for the moon bulletin board

I personally love this bulletin board for the classroom. Not only is the quote inspirational for the children but it can also be incorporated into Science (the solar system). As a class you can make the rocket out of cardboard and decorate it. Have each student make their own star, NOT giving them pre-made ones. Have a discussion with the class that not all stars are the same just like them! Hang up red rope lights or red colored string for the rocket trail. For some Science inspiration, hang up paper lanterns in front of the bulletin board to make it look like planets.

Rainbow Fish Bulletin Boards

After reading The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister, your class can make their own fish bulletin board on a budget.

1st Bulletin Idea: Color sheets of tin foil with bright colored sharpies and cut the foil into small pieces to resemble the rainbow fish scales. Have the students cut out their own fish shape and glue the bright pieces on.

2nd Bulletin Idea: Have students bring in their old CDs or your own and make fish parts with construction paper. Glue them to the back of the CD and add a googly eye for the finishing touch. The CD will glisten in the light of rainbow colors!

Use ugly ties you have laying around and put it behind bulletin board paper to create turkey feathers! If you don’t have any try going to your local thrift store to pick up some of the ugliest ones you can find! Then make up a writing activity for your students shaped as a pumpkin or pies to put below it! How cute is that?

Bulletin Board Tips
