Here is a super cheap and hands-on Valentine craft to do with your kiddos!
You will need a paper towel sheet, water, scissors, food coloring, and white paper.
Start by cutting out a heart shape from the paper towel. Have the kids sprinkle water on top of it.
Let them choose their food coloring colors (we used red and yellow) and put drops all over the heart. You can fold it in half and rub a little to get the whole heart covered (this is messy– I recommend gloves!)
Transfer the paper towel heart onto a piece of white paper.
With another piece of paper towel, dab the heart really hard all over.
Carefully lift it up and you have an awesome heart masterpiece! You can cut it out or draw a heart around it. Could be a great Valentine’s Day card idea!Make sure to follow Crafty Morning on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram or subscribe to our Weekly Newsletter! :)
