I was at the Dollar Tree looking for sensory bin activities to do with my 4 year old and couldn't believe they sold little containers of buttons! These normally go for way more at the regular craft store. They also sell playdough in a pack that has 4 containers in it.

Then if you walk down the floral aisle you will find gemstones, either clear or blue ones. These small parts work great for keeping the kids busy!

Please note this activity is not for young children and will need to be supervised at all times in case they put it in their mouths. For older kids like 4 year olds, it helps them with their fine motor skills for preschool! Make sure to check out all our Dollar Tree sensory bin ideas.
