My kids have been fascinated with jellyfish every since they saw Dory & Marlin hopping across them in Finding Nemo.  A large group of jellyfish like in the movie are called a bloom & can feature over 100,000 jellyfish.  Jellyfish also come in all sizes & colors.  You can easily make your very own jellyfish with a few materials.

  • styrofoam bowl
  • ribbon
  • paint
  • glitter
  • glue
  • scissors
  • paint brush
  • googly eyes

Let's get crafting...

1) Paint the styrofoam bowl & add glitter while it is still wet.  Allow to dry.

2) Cut 14 - 18" pieces of ribbon.

3) Attach to the bowl.

4) Add googly eyes & you are finished!

Jellyfish can be found in every sea & ocean.
