Supplies Needed:
- PDF template: flowers or hearts
- Colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Two 12oz paper cups (sometimes called “party cups”)
- Exacto knife (adults only)
- Markers
Instructions:
To begin, print the flower template or the heart template on white paper. The template is two pages, the outside design print and the inside print for the write-in words. Color the design printed template as desired, I found colored pencils to work best so you can still read the words. After the design has been colored, cut out the cup template plus the handle. Next grab the inside printed template and use the markers to write six reasons why “I love you”. Now you can use the glue stick to adhere each template to a cup so you end up with one cup with the outside design print and the other with the inside words. To make the coffee cup handle, fold over the tab at the end of the ‘C’ shape. Add glue to the two tabs and stick to the side of the cup. Next, cut the square from the outside design cup with an xacto knife (adults only for this part). To finish the craft, place the cup with the reasons inside the design printed cup. The craft is complete, give it a spin to see all the reasons you are loved!
