I was with my two little cousins yesterday and they wanted to do some art projects for Halloween. We made some black cats and witches hats using just some paint and a pencil. It's a super easy art project that any age can do it.

Materials Needed:

  • Paint
  • Pencil with a flat eraser
  • White paper
  • Cat cutout/printable

First you will need a cat cutout...we printed off one from the internet and cut it out. Then we put a rolled piece of tape on the back so it stayed put on the paper. After that, put some globs of paint on a paper plate and have the kids dip their erasers into it.  Have them stamp all around the cat shape so it's fully covered.

Once the paint is half way dry, the kids can peel off the paper to find a cool outline! I made the witches hat which was easy to draw by myself on an extra sheet of paper and tape it to my black sheet. You could really choose any object and make a fun silhouette craft!
