Popsicle Stick American Flag Craft for Kids

Here's a fun 4th of July craft for kids to make...a popsicle stick American flag! I think any age can make this art project if they try :)

You will need 7 popsicle sticks, paint, sequins, glue, and a piece of cardboard.

Start by putting 4 popsicle sticks together and make a straight edge with a piece of paper to make the blue square in the corner.

After that dries a bit, start painting 3 sticks red and 4 white.

Cut out a rectangle piece of cardboard (we used a cereal box) and glue the popsicle sticks to it. Grab some pretty red and blue sequins to glue on and you're done! You can also add an extra stick to make the flag pole.
