despicable me minion water bottle kids craft
Today me and the kiddos decided we wanted to make some minion water bottles! This idea is great for birthday parties, a bowling pin activity, and other games for children. Each guest can get their own water bottle with a minion on it! It doesn't matter how small or big your bottle is, you can make Despicable Me water bottle covers for any size.

First you will need a sheet of yellow construction paper to measure how much you'll need to go around the bottle you're using.

Cut the yellow paper however wide you want the minions face to be. Cut out a white circle and trace it with a black marker/sharpie.

Cut two pieces of black paper into long lines and glue them next to the eyeball to become the Minion's goggles!

I wanted a big smiling mouth on my Minion so I started to draw an outline right under the goggles with sharpie, leaving two big teeth :-)

Next is the hair. I just randomly cut pieces sticking out with the bottom still connecting them all.

All you have to do is tuck the hair piece right into the minion's goggles, no glue required!

Here are both the Despicable Me water bottles we made. On my smile I added two white square pieces of paper to make his teeth stand out. On the other minion, we just drew a tiny smile. You can get creative with this project...we made 5 minion bottles and went bowling with a little ball! :)
