Popsicle Stick Bow Tie Penguin Craft for Kids

Today I got out my popsicle sticks and made an adorable bow tie penguin craft! This would be a great winter art project for kids young or old. If you want to just have a regular penguin, leave out the bow tie!

Start by cutting out a piece of cardboard and gluing the popsicle sticks to it. This helps keep it sturdy and it’s easier to glue.

Make sure the popsicle sticks are angled so that the middle two are higher than the rest. Take a black sharpie and draw an oval in the middle to make the penguin’s stomach.

Paint the middle white and the outside with black. Let dry.

Finish off the penguin with some eyes, a beak, some orange feet, wings, and a bow. For the bow tie we used a noodle and painted it red! I think it would also look great with some sparkles on it.
