I had some potatoes going bad in my pantry so I thought it’d be a cute idea to make some sailboat stamps! They turned out great and would be a fun craft for kids to do in the summer!
You will need 1-2 potatoes, a knife, red/blue paint, paper, and a tiny paintbrush.
Start by cutting a potato in half, then half again. Using the other part of the potato make two triangle cuts; one bigger than the other. In the bigger triangle piece cut a couple of slits straight across to make the sail.
Dip the bigger piece of potato into the red paint and stamp it on a piece of paper. This is going to be the bottom of the boat! Then take a tiny paintbrush and make a line straight up the middle.
Paint on a tiny flag at the top and add some dots to the bottom of the sailboat and you’re done! So cute!Make sure to follow Crafty Morning on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram or subscribe to our Weekly Newsletter! :)
