Speckled Watercolor Blue Robins Egg Suncatchers

Today we made these gorgeous speckled blue robins egg suncatchers! Kind of funny when it literally just snowed this morning ha! After I added the brown nest, the eggs looked out of proportion to the real size of them so we cut them into small ones (didn’t look as cool!) or you can make a huge nest out of paper in the window! That would be a fantastic idea for a classroom.

Start by cutting some eggs out of white paper. Take a wide paintbrush and put a lot of water into the blue color. Make big strokes back and forth. Then take a regular watercolor brush and splatter the color brown all over it. This makes the egg speckled!

Let them dry and tape them up in the window. Add a brown nest out of paper and easter grass if you want!
