Here’s a cute valentine’s day craft idea…a cardboard yarn wrapped heart! You could make them into a garland strand or use as decorations.

Grab a piece of cardboard and draw or trace a heart – don’t worry if it’s not perfect, we’re going for charm here! Cut out that heart and get ready to wrap it up in love… or at least, yarn! Hot glue one end of the yarn to the middle of the heart, then start wrapping it around like crazy! Keep wrapping until your heart is fully covered in yarn goodness. Finally, hot glue that last piece down to secure it. And just like that, you’ve got a one-of-a-kind, totally adorable yarn heart!
It really is a fool-proof Valentine’s day art project for the kids to do and it’ll keep them busy for awhile!
