Toilet Paper Roll Fall Tree Craft Using Fruit Loops

This morning I realized that I had forgotten to shut a bag of fruit loops and they were all stale. My two little friends and I decided to make some toilet paper roll fall trees! They had a great time sticking on the cereal and they turned out super cute!

Materials Needed:

Start by having the kids sort out the colors they want on their tree. One made an apple tree (green and red) while the other chose a fall theme using yellow, red, and orange fruit loops. Cut out the top of the tree with the white card stock paper and put glue all over it.

Have the kids stick on the fruit loops and press down. Once that is dry, cut a two slits across from eachother in the empty toilet paper roll. Stick the paper inside and you’ve got yourself a tree!

Make sure to tell the kids that the cereal is not for eating after it’s been glued because they are definitely tempted!!

  1. These little trees are super cute! My girls are going to love making them! I wondered if you’d be willing to let me link to this post in a fall kids craft round up I’m putting together on my blog. If I could link to it and use one of your pictures, it’d be great!
    Thanks!
