I was babysitting for a family one day and they told me the kid's grandparents were coming later. I really wanted to have the kids make them something and then thought of this idea. What grandma doesn't love their grandkid's little handprints?! I think this "I love you" craft is super adorable and would be a great keepsake idea for anyone they love (moms, dads, uncles, etc!) Also consider it for a holiday such as Mothers or Fathers Day!
First trace your kiddos hands with a marker. We did the same hand twice as you can see in the picture haha (wrong way thumb!) If I had to do this again I would have the kids arch their thumbs inward so it actually looks like a heart between the hands, oh well still turned out cute!
Draw a heart with a glue bottle and have the kids shake some glitter on it.
Have them write "I Love You" and their name at the bottom.
Awww... also remember to put the date on the back just in case someone saves it :)
