Dollar Tree Dinosaur Sensory Bin

On my mission to make as many sensory bins using dollar store items, we made a dino sensory bin! It turned out so cool and my son was so excited to dig in!

I thought it’d be clever to make the noodles the dinosaur “bones” that he would have to dig up and find. Then I walked through the makeup aisle of Dollar Tree and thought the big makeup brush would be the perfect tool to “dust” off the rice.

I think next time I would add 2 or 3 bags of rice because the noodles didn’t get buried very well. This cost $11 to make. This is the perfect DIY sensory bin for toddlers, just make sure there’s adult supervision at all times as they might stick something in their mouths.
