After searching for sensory bins online, I realized i'm not rich enough to afford them LOL! Most that I saw were $35-55 and I just couldn't stomach that. So I headed to my Dollar Tree store and went on a hunt to find all the right supplies to entertain my 4 year old.

He is obsessed with trucks so I decided to make a construction site sensory bin! This cost me $11 to make using all items at the dollar store...winning!

After I constructed this bin my son went crazy and he said he loved it. Fine motor skills and entertainment all in one. Note that you should always supervise your children when playing with small parts like this. One of my favorite construction activities for toddlers! Make sure to check out all our Dollar Tree sensory bin ideas.
