Dollar Tree Dinosaur Sensory Bin

On my mission to make as many sensory bins using dollar store items, we made a dino sensory bin! It turned out so cool and my son was so excited to dig in!

I thought it'd be clever to make the noodles the dinosaur "bones" that he would have to dig up and find. Then I walked through the makeup aisle of Dollar Tree and thought the big makeup brush would be the perfect tool to "dust" off the rice.

I think next time I would add 2 or 3 bags of rice because the noodles didn't get buried very well. This cost $11 to make. This is the perfect DIY sensory bin for toddlers, just make sure there's adult supervision at all times as they might stick something in their mouths. Make sure to check out all our Dollar Tree sensory bin ideas.
