I love lily pads on the lake so I thought i'd try to make one using a doily and cupcake liner! I think older kids could make this craft no problem. Cutting the cupcake liner is a bit difficult for younger ones though. I think it'd be pretty to use pink liners too!

Materials Needed:

  • 2 cupcake liners
  • Miniature doily
  • Green and yellow paint
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Start by cutting a triangle out of the doily and paint it green. Flatten out the cupcake liners.

Cut the cupcake liners into  flower shapes but have one a little smaller than the other. Glue the smaller one inside the bigger one and crunch them together.

Paint the middle of the liner with yellow paint and glue it to the lily pad!

So pretty! I just love water lilies. I actually use a water lily as the symbol for my blog. This craft is adorable!
