Make some beautiful fall leaf mason jar lanterns! So fun to make and pretty to display!
- Mason Jar
- Faux Leaves*
- Foam brush
- Mod Podge (can also use white glue thinned with water)
Make sure your jar is clean. You can also wipe down with alcohol, if needed.
Begin to stick the leaves on by adding a layer of glue to the jar. Add a leaf and add a layer of glue over the top of the leaf, as well.
Do this until your jar is covered with leaves.
*Tip. You can overlap the leaves or leave a little bit of space between to allow more candle light to shine through.
Add raffia to the top of the jar and tie into a bow.
Allow to completely dry.
Add a candle and enjoy!
*The flatter leaves work better. The ones with a lot of ridges are a bit harder to work with. However, you can flatten them out a little by using an iron on a low setting. Lay out the leaves on a heat resistant surface. Put a sheet or towel on top and carefully iron.Make sure to follow Crafty Morning on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram or subscribe to our Weekly Newsletter! :)
