Here’s a fun experiment to do with the kids for Earth Day- Earth skittles! Watch as the skittles “melt” away into a whole Earth on a plate! So cool.
- Skittles that include green and blue
- white plate
- warm water
First you will want to prepare some warm water in a glass. The warmer the water is, the faster the color will disperse from the skittles. Next, separate the green and blue skittles from the bag & set aside. Then, set the plate on a flat surface. Arrange the skittles in a ‘Earth’ pattern. Finally, slowly pour the warm water in the center of the plate. You need enough water to cover about 1/3th of the height of the skittle. Then, wait…. the water will melt the skittles and fill in the rest of the earth with color.Make sure to follow Crafty Morning on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram or subscribe to our Weekly Newsletter! :)
