What kind of bird seed works best?
A standard mixed bird seed works perfectly. You can also use sunflower seeds if that’s what you have on hand.
Can I use a different container?
Absolutely. Small mugs, heat-safe bowls, or even silicone molds work well—just make sure you have a way to hang it.
Will this melt outside?
Coconut oil can soften in very warm weather. This feeder works best in cooler temperatures or shaded areas.
How long does it last?
