Here’s a super cool craft to make with your kids this summer! Bluebeatnik from Instagram made these and let me share!

Materials Needed:

  • Coffee filters
  • Dye/food coloring
  • Water
  • Aluminum foil
  • Glue/Scissors
  • Water dropper

Directions:

“The rainbow fish are done with blotting paper (you could use coffee filter paper) and using plastic squeeze pipettes (like eye droppers) to drip drops of water color dye onto the paper. I use mini muffins trays to put the dye in (1 color in each hole) and dilute with water. My little one does the dripping (he’s only 16 months so I put a couple of drops of dye in the pipette and pass to him). I then cut out some kitchen aluminum foil and glued it on for the shimmery bits.” To make clean-up easier, she uses shallow cookie sheets to put the coffee filters on!
