If you are looking for an adorable baby shower fruit basket this one is it! You can make your own little baby out of cantaloupe and other fruits. If you can get the fruit on sale at your local grocery store this can be a very frugal baby shower idea! I have also seen people cut the watermelon like a baby carriage with a handle. Get creative! Thanks to Cassandra for letting me share her awesome creation.

Start by cutting the watermelon open leaving a little "hooded" part at one end. Scoop all the watermelon pieces out and set aside. Start carving a cantaloupe into a ball shape. Set it under the hooded part of the watermelon. Make two cantaloupe balls for the ears and use a toothpick to attach them. Stick on two red grapes for the eyes, a watermelon piece for the nose, and a pacifier for the mouth. Fill the rest of the basket with random fruits for the blanket. To make it even more beautiful you can set it on top of a fruit platter as well.
