DIY: Silver & Gold Christmas Fish Bowl Centerpiece (On a Budget)
Christmas is coming and i’m guessing your budget is getting tighter. That’s how it is for me, I want to decorate the house beautifully but lets get serious, already made decorations are EXPENSIVE! If you are like me, at the end of Christmas last year I stocked up when the clearance section was marked down to 80-90% off at Target. Use those items to create something beautiful! I dug out all my stuff and created this silver and gold Christmas centerpiece for our living room table.
You will need any size fish bowl, I got mine at Micheals because they always have 40-50% one item coupons! Definitely look them up on their website, you can save a ton of money. I filled it with a whole roll of silver tinsel garland. Those are normally cheap but I also got it 80% off last year, yay!Â
I realized I grabbed a ton of Christmas gift tag tie-ons since they were 10 cents a piece! These worked great for putting them in the bowl. Just make sure you cut off the paper tag part. I love how all the snowflakes, pine cones, and ornaments have some glitter and sparkle to them.Â
I got plain gold silver ball ornaments to stick in there as well and to top the centerpiece off I added two silver present bows I found. There you have it, a easy and cheap DIY centerpiece for the holidays. Hope you find some goodies from your clearance finds too!
