Fingerprint Flower Pot Craft for Kids to Make

Make a pretty fingerprint flower pot craft with your kids for a Mother’s Day gift or just for Spring! Not only is it cute but it’s fun for the kids because they get to have their fingers messy!

You will need scrapbook paper, paint, a small paintbrush, fingers, and glue.

Cut out a flower pot shape with some pretty scrapbook paper.

Have the kids dip their pointer finger in yellow paint and make little dots above the pot.

Wipe their finger off and have them use pink/purple paint and go around the yellow dots to make a flower!

Give them a tiny paintbrush and green paint to make the stem and leaves coming out from the flower pot.  Once it dries, write on top of the card “Happy Mother’s Day” or whatever else you’d like.

  1. Such an easy and pretty craft. I love anything with the kids’ fingerprints or hand prints, but this is especially sweet because each flower can have a different child’s fingerprint for the petals. Thanks for sharing your idea.
