Here’s a fun groundhog day craft for kids! Will the groundhog see his shadow or not?
You will need a paper plate, yellow/white/brown paper, pipe cleaner, scissors, glue, and a black marker.
Start by having the kids paint the paper plate with brown paint (or marker). Cut it in half or a little less. Cut out a yellow circle and strips to make a sun. Then cut out a white cloud. Using a pipe cleaner, wrap a brown piece of paper around it to stick the groundhogs head on.
You can see a better tutorial for making the groundhog’s face here. Glue all the pieces to the plate except the groundhog because he can pop up and down with the stick. Have fun!Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram or subscribe to our Weekly Newsletter! :)
