Today we wanted to do some hand print art so we decided to make a scarecrow craft for fall! It actually turned out pretty cute and you can make them look like whatever you want.
Materials Needed:
- Washable paint
- White and brown paper
- Yellow easter grass
- Black/brown marker
- Glue/Scissors
Paint your child's three middle fingers with blue paint, the pinky/thumb with red and the palm a tan color.
Have them stamp it on a white piece of paper. We then realized we should of had the red paint go under the palm so it looks more like a shirt.
I had left over paper easter grass so we glued those on the hands, feet, and head. Then we cut out a brown hat with paper and glued it. Once the paint was completely dried, we added a face, a post, dirt, and some birds flying overhead!
Amy Rose made this craft and used a popsicle stick instead, it's adorable!

Absolutely love your scarecrow so we're making our own family of scarecrow's after seeing yours. We did the hand prints today, just waiting for the paint to dry then we'll finish them off this week. Super excited to see the finished product
I absolutely love this! What an adorable craft. You are so creative.
