These 3D rice krispie snowmen treats are just ADORABLE and make a fun activity to involve the kids. They are easy to make and you can customize your snowman anyway you want! Perfect for a winter treat or to put on a Christmas platter.

Supplies Needed:

  • 1 recipe rice krispies (just used the one on the back of the box)
  • Mini m&m's
  • Rolos
  • Gold coins
  • Fruit strips
  • Mini chocolate chips

Make several small and large balls out of rice krispies. If it is sticky and hard to handle, just spray some cooking spray on your hands.

Cut your fruit strips into long pieces and make little slices at the ends for fringe. Melt some mini chocolate chips in the microwave for about 30 seconds pr until completely melted and smooth. Fold the fruit strip in half and attach to the large ball with chocolate. Use a bit more chocolate and attach the head (small ball).

To make your hats use the melted chocolate to attach the rolos to the gold coins, then use some more chocolate and attach the hat to the snowman's head.

I used mini chocolate chips for the eyes, and the mini m&m's for the buttons. I cut an orange m&m in half for the nose. I used a toothpick dipped in the melted chocolate to paint the back of the candy and attach them securely, and then used the toothpick to dot on a smile.
