Grilled cheese and tomato soup is one of my family’s favorite meals.  My youngest daughter even picks it as her special dinner for her birthday.  It’s an easy and delicious meal, but it’s fairly boring.  I started thinking of ways I could make it better.  After brainstorming with my husband we came up with an idea on how to improve our beloved grilled cheese and tomato soup meal.  We decided to try swiss cheese instead of American.  We also added turkey bacon and spinach.  The outcome was delicious.  I hope your family enjoys this new twist on an old favorite as much as my family did.

Here is what you will need:

  • Bread
  • Butter
  • Spinach
  • Bacon (I used turkey bacon)
  • Cheese ( I used swiss)
  • Tomato Soup
  • Milk or Water

I like to shop cheap!!!

They look so yummy!!!

Here is how I made them:

  1. Fry or bake your bacon.
  2. Butter the amount of bread you will need.
  3. Cooking over low-med heat stack your ingredients. Bread butter side down, cheese, spinach, bacon, and finally bread butter side up.
  4. Cook tomato soup according to the can.

It's that simple!!!

We will definitely be having this meal again!
