turn a bedroom into a craft and scapbooking room ideas
The first time I saw my aunt Sue's crafting room I was amazed! It was so cute and colorful that I wanted it to be my own. When she told me that her husband built all the cabinets, counters, and shelving for her I was blown away! The actual room I was standing in used to be a bedroom! I just wanted to share with you all organization and storage ideas for your own DIY craft room.

I love the vibrant green color she painted the walls especially with the backlighting under the cabinets. Simple word signs saying "live, love, laugh" bring the whole room together!
utilitary cart for scrapbooking and craft rooms
You can buy a kitchen island or a utility cart and make it into a useful area for cutting on top or storing items in the baskets! Who would of thought of that besides Sue?! :) The circle retro green and blue boxes are my favorite.

This piece is so cool hanging over it!
organizing scrapbooking closet or crafts
The bedroom closet has shelves which hold all her crafty things. I like the foldable storage bins with handles on the top shelves, they are pretty cheap too. Notice the storage compartment bins, which is smart for organizing smaller items.
organizing craft supplies with buckets, ribbons, paint for the room
I love the bright colors that she included in this piece hanging up in the room. The two small rods at the bottom hold all her ribbons which help keep them neat and tidy. You can see random color tin pails and containers for holding small things like buttons or mini paint bottles!

This simple white storage piece has 4 compartments and really stands out on the counter top. She has all her pretty pens organized too!

Thanks Sue for letting me use your pictures!
